Sumpter Flea Markets have grown over the years since their humble beginnings back in the 1970's when they were part of the orginal Sumpter Valley Days. Now the Sumpter Flea Market has become one of the most popular flea market events in the Northwest and certainly the largest in Eastern Oregon! The City of Sumpter rents space to vendors at the Fairgrounds and down at the Sumpter Museum, while propterty owners rent private space to vendors too. As the Sumpter Flea Markets have grown, flea market vendors have staked claims throughout our historic town by renting from private property owners and merchants which means visitors can spend a whole weekend exploring Sumpter and experiencing it's rich heritage of history while shopping for unique gifts and treasures! Visitors can enjoy the Old Time Fiddlers, take a ride on the Sumpter Valley Railway, tour the Sumpter Valley Dredge or visit our Sumpter Museum and Library

Flea Market visitors should plan to spend the whole day ~ or better yet.........

Remember.........
Vendors may set up as early as the Wednesday
prior to each Flea Market!
Vendors are required to purchase a Vendors License
from the City of Sumpter for each Flea Market
Be prepared for all types of weather! Bring plenty of cash -
there is only one ATM in town, and it runs out fast!
